Hi Everybody,

Welcome back to school, hope you enjoyed the break. We made significant progress over the past few weeks, but there are still plenty of parts to be machined and assembled so make sure to stop by the shop. In case you are not familiar with it, the SBM shop is located in the basement of Heavy Engineering. By next week, we should have a weekly schedule of open hours for the shop and as always we will be there all day on Saturdays. 

If you need to practice your machining/welding skills, make sure to visit Henry in the basement of the Engineering Bldg. Henry will be available Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 7 AM until 3 PM.

 

IMPORTANT UPDATES

· The sweatshirts are in so if you ordered one and haven't gotten it, come by the office or one of our general body meetings to pick it up. 

· The 2012 rules have been posted and everybody who wants to participate in the design and fabrication of the car should read them.

· We encourage every team member to reach out to friends, family, companies, and anybody who'd be interested in sponsoring the team. We have prepared a sponsorship packet and they are ready to be distributed. If you'd like some packets please reply to this email.
