Professional Experience
Satya Sharma has managed technology, led product development, managed
marketing and financial functions, led operations and taken a leadership
role in organizational transformation. At Symbol Technologies, Sharma
managed, lead and nurtured organizational transformation in engineering.
He managed quality, product design and World Wide Operations. Sharma
came to Stony Brook to lead its Center for Wireless Technology Initiative.
To this endeavor, he brings experience based on achievements in formulating
management strategies which focus on improvements and in clearly defining
the role of the individual in business.
